1. Is there a real need for your services? Do people really want to have their premises cleaned regularly?

Contract Cleaning is Big Business! There are many different premises that require our cleaning services on a continuous basis. 

Commercial buildings, banks, offices, schools, government buildings etc as well as retail shops and private homes are frequent Customers of  Hibernian Securiclean™.  In Ireland there are almost 77,000 premises that are potential customers of the business.

What does this mean to you?

Unfortunately, in the industry there aren’t that many companies’ people can turn to who know what they’re doing.  That’s good news for us.  Since we’ve been in the industry for over 45 years, we’ve developed a proven system for delivering outstanding results that keep customers coming back for more.  That’s the great opportunity we (and you) have!!

2. How hard is it to get customers?

When a newly qualified Management Franchisee leaves the training centre, a Marketing Launch Package is set in motion to “Kick Start” the franchisees business. Our National Sales Executive will spend dedicated time in your area when you come on board as a franchisee to assist you in getting new business- FAST

This will deliver the first few jobs for the new franchisee to “get his teeth into”.  When the first job comes along head office support staff will be there to help and assist you.

Thereafter the ongoing marketing effort is shared, with the franchisee looking after their own local marketing, but using the templates/materials and advice of Head Office, while Head Office look after National Marketing Strategy.

3. What’s the competition like?

Like every business there is always competition and there are independent operators in the sector. 4. What type of person is perfect for this business?

We are very selective about the people we take on board.  Why?  Because our success is directly related to your success.  Therefore we can’t afford to accept just anyone.

We know that working from home, as your own boss, is very attractive, that’s why we do have a stringent policy on recruitment.  For starters your must have the following qualities, or we won’t even consider you…

  • Are highly motivated with good business acumen
  • Have some previous management experience
  • Are comfortable operating a PC
  • Have good personal discipline with the ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Enjoy Customer service and have good organisational ability
  • Are hardworking and honest
  • Comfortable talking to customers (you need to be able to communicate well)

And most importantly

  • Have the drive, desire and ambition to be the best!

5. Can I really earn a good living?

Yes you can.  Typical first year turnover is targeted at around €177,000 of which €39,000 is your net profit after all costs.  Obviously, Year 2 and Year 3 have much greater profit potential- With a six figure sum from Year 3 on!!

We will be happy to have a detailed discussion of the financial projections during a face to face meeting.

But don’t for one minute think that it’s a “walk in the park”.  You still have to earn your money!  You do have to put the effort in, but because our systems are so detailed and straightforward you work smarter – not harder.

6. What support structure do you have in place?

We believe that the support structure of any franchise organisation is one of the most important aspects of running a successful franchise.

You have to know that you’ll never be left alone “to get on with it”. Of course our training is so detailed you won’t need constant supervision, but you will need help from time to time.

That’s why we have a structure in place that ensures your success…

Technical Support is provided through John Hallinan and his team, whilst Business Performance Support is provided through Michael Noonan and The Franchise Group.  Of course you also have the call centre, IT systems and web sites…

7. How do your training and systems compare to other franchise organisations?

We’ve been in this business for over 45 years.  We know it inside out.  Our training procedures and manuals reflect the systematic approach we take with all our clients.  We believe we offer the best training available in our industry.

With a-b-c type, step-by-step instructions, and an attention to detail that will stagger you, we know we can develop you into a true expert in the contract cleaning field in just 5 days flat and maintain your knowledge with regular up to date ongoing training thereafter.

We don’t accept everyone as Management Franchisees, but those who qualify already have the basic skills – we just give them the tools of our trade!

8. How much is the upfront Franchise fee?

The Franchise fee is reviewed after every training course.  At the moment it’s just €35,000 plus VAT.

9. What does the Franchise fee include?

All training, the Franchise Licence, start up equipment package, sign written Hibernian Securiclean™ Vehicle with first 3 months lease payment included, and an initial launch marketing campaign.  Download our mini prospectus for full details.

10. Do I have to pay a monthly management fee?

Our Management Service Fee is set at just 7.8% of turnover.

11. Do I have to pay a marketing contribution?

Our national marketing fee is set at 1.0% of turnover.

This fund is used to purchase national marketing that would be beyond the reach of any individual franchisee.  

12. How long does it take to get back my upfront Management Franchise fee?

Unlike may other franchise opportunities we’ve set the fee at a level where we know 99% of our people will have turned over more than 5 times the amount in their first year.

13. What are the typical working hours/week?

40 – 50 hours for a typical week

14. Where would the customers be located?

Within your Exclusive Management Franchise Territory.  This is the part of the country that you will be granted an exclusive licence to operate in.  Typically these areas have a population of approximately 300,000 people.

15. How can you guarantee the earnings from each Franchise after year 1?

We fully expect high Customer demand for our service in each area and whilst we can’t guarantee the earnings from each Management Franchise, we have over 45 years successful trading in the industry - we know what we are talking about!  All of our projections are based on actual trading figures.

As with all businesses (including Management Franchises) it is down to the efforts of the individual franchisee to make the business work for them.  But choosing a Management Franchise like Hibernian Securiclean™, massively improves your chances of success!
